I actually called a radio station to request a song of Petty’s that was really good but not one of his classics like American Girl and the DJ said they weren’t allowed to play it. Petty’s album The Last DJ is about this exact subject. And it’s very good with 3 or 4 songs that could have been huge hits. RIP TP.

Not true at all Beyonce, Swift, Mars, there are lots of stars with ten or more top ten singles out there. I bet people could name 20 current pop stars with more than 10 top 25 hits.
