Wheres the /s
Your reply made it seem as if being a K-9 officer makes it impossible for the officer to beat his dog. Well it’s logical to assume that the same would apply for all other behavior because cops “wanted to be and are tested to be police officers”. But then there you are.. some bad apples are found in the barrel. Just like priests, teachers, Marines, etc.....
Man is inherently weak. virtue and discipline are rare.
Dick be specific about what I said
I inferred that a K9 officer is less likely to abuse dogs
You guess are just guessing based on pics and hunches
Dogs just freak and bite
It happens
That was my sense, too, the dog wasn’t happy and you’re right he is leaning away from the officer from the shoulders up. I knew there was something about the dog’s stance, I just wasn’t sure what it was and you got it he is leaning away from the officer and the dog’s ears are pointed back and his eyes are deeply focused like a trapped animal can look. Sad.
I wonder if the officer was around dogs growing up?

The inevitable hip dysplasia of GSDs is why they’ve moved to Mals.
