Robots can develop prejudices like “racism and sexism” all on their own, a shocking new study has found.
Artificial intelligence experts performed thousands of simulations on robot brains, revealing how they split off into groups and treat “outsiders” differently.
Computer scientists and psychologists from Cardiff University and MIT teamed up to test how robots identify each other.

Prejudice is entirely rational if one doesn’t have a soul. The only reason we regard the poor with any consideration is that we know that God asks good from us. Its not a question excess of compassion.

If a robot honestly learns of the violence and murder by certain groups, if it’s objective, it wouldn’t be very PC.
Intelligence is marked by using experience and available data to anticipate behavior and outcomes. Stupidity is going into situations and ignoring the information available.

Or maybe, robots accumulate data which leads to conclusions the PC crowd now refuse to accept and therefore simply reject it as being “racist” and “sexist”. Kinda like how they don’t like factual messages and then label messengers as racist and sexist as a means to shut down discussion or debate.
So maybe the reality is that this is empirical evidence who’s findings indicts those who compiled the data.

A computer, or robot “brain”, can only be fed what human experience has learned.
Thus, whatever the robot brain is spewing out, is logically the product of how humans think.
BTE, AI is not the same as “thinking”.
Sexism and racism, as well as ageism, beautyism, etc., are not bad things. They are like other tools. They can be used for bad or for good. I was quite sexist when choosing a wife.

In other words, “I have an 83% chance of success using [model A], and a 5% chance of success using [model B], therefore I choose [model A].”
Typically you don’t know how the 83% was accumulated, just that it is 83%.
Based on the article, the “how” could be as simple as, “I’m closest to you, so we’ll trade”, run through many generations.
In other words, unbiased algorithmic analyses of statistical patterns in human behavior leads to the recognition that men and women are different on average, and that racial and ethnic groups have average differences too. Much to the chagrin of liberals, reality must be “sexist and racist.”
