Longtime journalist Bob Woodward said Monday that Defense Secretary Jim Mattis and White House Chief of Staff John Kelly “are not telling the truth” when they deny making disparaging statements about President Donald Trump attributed to them in his new book, “Fear.”
Kelly is quoted calling Trump “an idiot,” and Mattis is quoted saying Trump has the understanding of “a fifth or sixth-grader,” but they’ve said they didn’t make those statements.
Woodward, asked on Monday on NBC’s “Today” show about their denials, said, “They are not telling the truth.” He said “these are political statements to protect their jobs.”
The Pulitzer Prize-winning Woodward staunchly defended the integrity of his reporting and said the book, which comes out this week, “is as carefully done as you can do an excavation of the reality of what goes on.” …

This is about as truthful as his fictional interview with a dying John Mitchell for a previous book. Woodward is a money grabbing liar who should never be trusted.
I doubt this person is real. The dems are just trying to create a distrust, paranoia. Clue movie.
Woodward and Bernstein remind me of all those rockers of their era that REFUSE TO GET OFF THE STAGE.

Clearly someone isn't. Since Woodward absolutely 100% lied about William Casey's deathbed confessions about Iran Contra, I know who I think is lying this time.
Woodward lied about Nixon too.
I don’t care what Trump haters have to say - that includes Woodward. His book lacked balance... he wrote the book to ‘get’ Trump. Period.
If I went around to ‘journalists’ and had them tell be the positives and negatives about the profession - then only printed the negative comments — it would look the same. It would be a hit piece. That’s what Woodward did...
Why would Kelly and Mattis make these “political” statements
if they knew Woodword would put them in his book?
The answer is they didn’t. Woodward is the LIAR.
