A lb of ham at GE, depending on the type (forgetting about chipped) is $5-$7 is a lb... 3-5 slices is probably around 1/5 to 1/4 of a lb...

So, probably looking at 1-2 dollars a day of retail value theft... So I am not sure how this guy is coming up with $9,000, if she at that daily and worked EVERY day.. 5 years would be less than $2000

IT doesn’t say what meat she ate, but most are under $8 a lb... so I am having a hard time with $9k number.

Maybe it was ham from those hogs that are finished on acorns. That stuff sells for something like $200/lb

If she’s eating Prosciutto (Parma or San Daniele) it can be $20-30+ per pound.

Taking into account the “calibration slice” made at the start of the order that can be discarded. Usually, it is wafer thin and not a full slice.

No bill this one...
