Secret KGB documents reveal just how deeply involved the Soviet Union was in the spilling of Israeli blood. The Russian spy agency provided Palestinian terror organizations with funds, training and arms, running agents like 'Krotov' - aka Mahmoud Abbas, 'Aref' - or Yasser Arafat, and 'Nationalist,' who was behind several plane hijackings long before 9/11.
The genesis of the KGBs developing ties with Palestinian terror organizations can be traced back to the end of the 1960s.
The two most important KGB recruitments from the PLO during the second half of the 1970s were of people who still play a major role in Palestinian politics today...
The second and more important KGB recruitment was of the agent "Krotov" (mole), who was described in the KGB's files as "born in 1935, Palestinian, prominent figure both politically and socially. Lives in Syria, a member of the PLO Central Council."
As reported on Channel 1, based on research conducted by Isabella Ginor and Gideon Remez, agent "Krotov" is none other than Mahmoud Abbas, the president of the Palestinian Authority.
The Mitrokhin documents, which have been corroborated by information gathered over the years by Israeli intelligence services, provide further details about agent "Krotov."
The KGB began Abbas's "first stage of recruitment" around 1979, when Abbas arrived in Moscow to study at the Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia.
The university's declared goal was to aid elements in the Third World and in Africa in obtaining higher educationwhile increasing the influence of the USSR and of communism in the developing world. But the university had other roles, too. Among other things, the KGBthat essentially controlled the campusrecruited agents there.
Abbas had already been a graduate of the Damascus University's Faculty of Law, and was accepted in Moscow to study for a Candidate of Sciences degree...

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas was a Soviet spy in Damascus in the 1980s, Israels Channel 1 television reported Wednesday, citing information it said was included in an archive smuggled out of the USSR.
According to Channel 1s foreign news editor Oren Nahari, the famed Mitrokhin archive, kept by KGB defector Vasily Mitrokhin, revealed that Abbas was a Soviet mole in Damascus in 1983.
The documents obtained by Israeli researchers Isabella Ginor and Gideon Remez purportedly show that Abbas, code-named Krotov (mole), was involved with the Soviets while Mikhail Bogdanov, today Vladimir Putins envoy to the Middle East. was stationed in Damascus.
Bogdanov was caught in a diplomatic tussle earlier this week after trying to broker a summit between Abbas and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Moscow, who both claimed a willingness to meet while decrying the other for allegedly refusing. ..."
Yes. Thats correct. The Soviets created the entire fake Palestinian identity scheme in the first place. Very clever and the anti- Semitic Snake Department Nazi moles saw its potential and immediately jumped onboard the farce. Thank Heaven after all these years of plo pa Hamas hezbellah terrorist attacks and murders all funded enabled armed and trained by soviets abd eutonaxis and yes, USA- finally finally it appears the dangerous Fakestinian lie is being brought to an end. And president Trump deserves a big part of the credit. MAGA MAGA !
The more things change....
Palis used as cannon fodder by Soviets thanks to traitors, same thing with Iran using Lebanese or Alawites in Syria.
No one ever mentions that 50%of shias in Lebanon hate Hezbollah, but instead associate all shias under the Hezbollah umbrella. Funny how that discrimination is fine at state when it favors the leftist perceptions of strength
Year by year the late Ms Claire Sterling, author of the book The Terror Network, gets more and more vindicated. She used mostly open source material to put forward the thesis that the international terrorism during the 1970s was to a large degree funded and supported, and sometimes even run, by the Soviets and their allies. This was of course absolutely anathema to the leftists, neutralists and other communist sympathisers. Strangely enough - or not so strange at all we now understand - she also received a lot of criticism from inside the CIA and the State Dept. It was not until Bill Casey became DCIA she got the positive support she deserved.
