POTUS, Donald J. Trump has rightly cancelled two (2) planned and scheduled political rallies in the states of Missouri & Mississippi this week, so that he will have full 100% concentration on an oncoming, dangerous, devastating, hurricane on a path to land in Southern Atlantic State shorelines and interiors.
The was the right move, since it insures and assures the "Captain" will be in "the wheel house" commanding the destiny of the nations ship. Our prayers are with you and all Americans with exposure to the approaching danger.
God bless you POTUS, Trump, & God bless the American people,& God bless all of our brave American first responders, law enforcement officers, medical folks, military support groups, etc.!!! Lord, keep us all, safe, sound and secure!!!
I agree it is a good political move; big media would have a field day if he didn’t.
But as a practical matter President Trump can’t micromanage the operation, it would seem. FEMA, state and local agencies will be doing their thing.

Somehow, some way, the liberals will still find a reason to complain that POTUS didn’t do enough to respond to the hurricane.
I believe that, much to liberals’ shameless chagrin, Trump will handle this situation very well.
The wash compost has already blamed Trump for the hurricane. So, no matter what happens, they can spend the next 6 years blaming him.

Sorry to be a grammar nazi, but why the quotes around “Hurricane Florence”? Looks like it’s the real thing. The quotes imply that there’s some fakery going on.

This thing, if it goes like it looks like is going to be a massive disaster... and not just for the coastline where it hits, but likely massive flooding from the rains across the Carolinas and its entire path after landfall...
Personally I live in Pittsburgh, and if this goes like it looks like, I fully expect major flooding here when it reaches these parts just like, if not worse than Ivan did, and we are a good 600 miles or more from where this thing will likely make landfall.
Can always reschedule a rally.
Of course we all know, no matter what Trump does they’ll find some reason to spin it to hammer him anyway.
To date, Obama has never missed a fund raiser. For anything.
What can he do in the Oval Office that he can’t do in Missouri? Nothing. Sure, it’s good for the ops and will hold down some of the TDS but unless he’s going to stand in front of the winds and play Moses, where he is or what he’s doing (aside from hiding out in the WH basement toking or shooting up like Obamy was) will not have any effect.
You are right...but... Trump, unlike any Democrat, knows how to select a great Federal Government Management Team below him. FEMA, the USA Military Groups, etc., will all do their utmost responsiblities & duties in concert with their local & states authorities.
Regardless..of what the Democrats are saying about how Trump messed up in Puerto Rico, Trump actually saved the island from total economic collapse. The Lufthansa Technik Aircraft Maintenance Facility (MRO) is up and running at full capacity, the Puerto Rican hotels have been refurbished, and are fully booked and being used to the hilt. Puerto Rico lives...no thanks to the Democrat scum & vermin that have mismanaged this magnificent island paradise for so many years...which is why so Puerto Rican Americans used their USA citizenship to escape to the USA for better jobs and greater life opportunities. Puerto Ricans, your downfall comes from one group, greedy and criminal Democrats!!!
Those of us around the Burgh are SICK OF RAIN and the soil is saturated, but still minor stuff compared to a major hurricane. The more land which Flo has to travel to get to us, the lower the punch.
“Hurricane Florence” soon to be tagged as “Trumps Katrina” by the Lame stream media. Rush predicted that on his show yesterday, and I totally agree. I’ll even go one further by saying they will call it that BEFORE it even touches land.
Ivan had to cover a lot more land to reach us than Flo does...

I’m in Clemson SC and I’m not overly concerned, although we are preparing. Once a storm reaches the Appalachians, all the energy gets sucked out of it, that’s why the Upstate never sees any real hurricane damage even when the coasts get obliterated.

Remember that G.W. Bush was vacationing at his ranch in the days before Katrina and had given them a photo of him playing the guitar there? While there was absolutely NO CONNECTION, the enemedia published that picture with headlines to suggest Nero was fiddling while Rome was burning.
Democrats and their “fake News” Media are in full panic mode, frightened to their boots, are now turning to violence, across the board to defeat POTUS, Trump in any manner they can, (Republican Congressional Candidate in California cursed and threatened with knife stabbing killing by nutcase adorer of Obama/Clinton Democrat low life scum & vermin).
I would suggest that Democrat leadership, if there is any, immediately come forward to stop this planned and increasing violence from their nutcase political followers.
My strongest advice to the American voters, all of them, regardless of political loyalties, is that they should vote Republican across the board this coming November 6, 2018 and politically destroy the entire Democrat Party, because the Democrat Party is out to destroy our American Republic by any means at hand, including murder!!! Obama...what a guy...Clinton...what a gal...both America haters to their very core!!!
I actually think Trump needs to be there to make sure Obamabots within FEMA do not try to deliberately sabotage him with this.
