One of the most celebrated groups in the mainstream media is transgendered people or people who suffer from gender dysphoria.
This lead to transgenderism becoming a fad that had many people claiming to be transgendered, especially among the young. However, data now shows that those young people who do embrace a life of transgenderism seem to have abnormally high suicide rates. ..... Female to male adolescents reported the highest rate of attempted suicide (50.8%), followed by adolescents who identified as not exclusively male or female (41.8%), male to female adolescents (29.9%), questioning adolescents (27.9%). ..... Compared to the suicide rate of teens who do not identify as transgendered, this is horrifically high, though any suicide rate is bad. (No kidding!)

On FR, we comment about how perverse and self-defeating this is for most transgenders. Here's some stats which show it might be a self-limiting phenomenon.
Mentally ill people need and deserve treatment so that they can be closer to normal. Current cultural trends demand that the one thing you DON’T do for these mentally ill people is offer them treatment.
Liberals don’t care about people. They care about how something makes them feel.
This is the result of celebrating trans versus treating it as a serious mental health condition.

It’s actually sad but everytime I lament the fact that my marriage didn’t produce children at least I don’t have to worry that one day they would decide they weren’t born in the body they were intended to be born in.
Cutting off your junk will do this.
Why is this a surprise? One must be profoundly mentally ill to even entertain the idea that they want to “change” their sex.And when they finally discover that *that* isn’t “the answer” they decide that it’s time to check out.
I admit, this is something that makes me VERY angry.
These kids need psychiatric help at best, or dismissal at worst, not encouragement, and encouragement is what society is giving them.
It is often normal among a number of kids to be sexually confused to small or large degrees, and they just grow out of it.
But instead, society celebrates it, encourages it, and it becomes a badge, a thing to belong to!
It is criminal that we as a society allow this, and it results in these suicide rates. And preventing them from “coming out of the closet” isn’t the cause as many of them want everyone to think. It is the underlying unhealthiness and cognitive dissonance that is the cause of the unhappiness the translates to suicide rates.
I often think the basic mechanism is the same as young mothers having children out of wedlock. In the past, it happened to, but it was a definite point of shame, and discouraged by society. Now we celebrate young teenage girls having children out of wedlock, make them a “protected class” and even provide facilities in high schools to encourage it. And we wonder why those numbers are out of control.
Our society is so far off the tracks in some respects.
Trannies are mentally ill. Society does no favor by attempting to reassure them that they are “normal”. They are sick. That they suicide is no surprise.
I think this is terrible child abuse in that these teens would probably be normal if someone didn’t push the trans gender agenda on them.
It’s mass reverse psychology.
Normal people are the problem.
Self-mutilation is merely an expression of self-loathing. Suicide is merely taking that expression to its extreme.
I’ve seen it...up close and personal.As difficult as it is for a parent to watch a child endure a serious *physical* health problem it’s even tougher to watch a child with a serious mental/psychiatric disorder.
My thoughts are that these kids are trying on this crap for attention - because who or what is getting more attention than the lgbtqrst crowd?
And between no fathers, liberal mothers, no attention or discipline because their parents are off taking care of their own “needs”, treated as mini-adults to relieve the parents’ sense of responsibility, shoved into full time, clinical day care warehouses from 3 weeks old - these poor kids are attention starved to say the least.
When being sexually abnormal wears off or doesn’t work they try suicide for attention. Their minds are already distorted, I would bet that they think they will be rescued in time.
It’s not all their own fault that they are so effed up. But go ahead and blame Conservative Christians for making your kid feel bad.
