How many of these signatures came from Louisiana? People of the South and Texas are sick of having northern busybodies interfering in our business.

There would BE no live mascot if Universities focused on EDUCATION instead of football! LSU is a well known party school. Believe me when I tell you that , locally, the football program is ALL that matters! So they worry about a live animal that is well treated and fed but NOT the obsession it represents? Talk about priorities!

Maybe they should get a cock like SC, or a duck like Oregon, or a Saluki like Northern Illinois.

Wait ‘til the lefties figure out that ‘Tigers’ comes from Roberdeau Wheat’s Confederate infantry battalion raised in New Orleans in 1861.

Since my wife’s family is from the New Orleans area, I thought I’d elaborate more fully on this LSU naming dilemma. Since we can’t have a pampered rescue tiger as a collegiate mascot, we should change it to a more politically correct symbol to make the serious leftists more comfortable. I am open to suggestions. The most obvious one is LSU “Coonasses” or in a more diverse vein,. LSU Beignets. or the LSU Shrimpers. Just a few thots on a slow morning.

Soyboys? Oh yeah, can’t use a gender. Soy Critters. Got that Cajun flavor and embodies the virtue signalling nauseous feel you’re looking for in a 21st century mascot.

On another note, however, how about the Cajun Navy gearing up to help out the Palmetto State. Those boys are ragers. They may show up before the Coast Guard does, which is saying nothing about the USCG, who is generally rushing into ports that every other boat is trying to run from.

That makes sense, actually.

I have so much respect for them. Every one of them is an expert in what they do, with skills handed down to them by their dads and granddads. And they adopt new tech too.

And they work. They work in the heat.

And they’re leaving because they understand hurricanes, what it does to communities, and are going to show those folks how to pull together and rebuild.

Badasses. And great cooks. Knee-bucklingly good cooks.

We’ve always said in order to get rid of the libtards -tell the Cajuns they are out of season, there’s a bag limit and they taste good in gumbo!

Amen to that. Does LA still have a feral pig problem? I’ve heard the python problem is overblown.

Who cares? 100,000 people never show up for a math test. College education has become infected with liberal BS anyway.
