You wish. The Chucky Feinswine show has already fabricated sleazy accusations against anyone Trump might nominate. None of it is true, of course, but that no longer matters.
President Trump will nominate the next best judge to replace Ginsburg—that is, the judge with the most decisions after Kavanaugh. The last nail in the coffin of political correctness was driven during the Democrat primary in 2008.

The mere fact there is an accusation gives cover for people like Flake to vote down Kavanaugh. If there is an upside, the loss of Kavanaugh will enrage us deplorables. If there’s a red wave in November, and the makeup of the judiciary committee changes, then it may be possible to bring Kavanaugh back for a second shot. Also, it will smooth the way for Ginsburg’s replacement. Frankly, I think she’s holding onto life due only to inertia.
I know that Justice Scalia responded to that line of thought by saying that the glamorous cases we hear about like Roe v. Wade are one thing - and the day-to-day work of the Court is something else. And that “something else” is lawyer's work, pure and (not so) simple.
I agree that Amy Barret will be Buzzy’s replacement. May it come to pass very soon.
For the Ds to try Kavanaugh-like character assassination on a woman will scuttle their possibilities of victory in many future elections. Women are far more vindictive than men.
Barrett was my pick. Now, we’d have no allegations, but she’s not an establishment pick. She’s a solid Christian conservative, and the media would work overtime. They’d have women believing she’ll take their birth control and force them to live like the Handmaid’s Tale. They did that with Kavanaugh, but with her, it will be ten times worse.
There’s no requirement for a SCOTUS member to be a lawyer. But Cruz is a lawyer, that definitely works.
But once Kavanaugh is confirmed, and once RBD is hauled off to the old folks’ home, I want Trump to nominate Sarah Palin. Maybe do it on April 1st. Just for fun. Let the heart attacks begin.
