Ebola has spread beyond the designated infection zone of the Democratic Republic of Congo’s North Kivu, with new cases springing up in Ituri province, just 31 miles from the Ugandan border.

Send it to Lybia, Somalia, Indonesia, and Iran.

Oh, it’s coming. It was only a matter of time.
God help us.

“Send it to Lybia, Somalia, Indonesia, and Iran.”

Funny you should mention Iran. I read during the first big, recent outbreak in the early 2000’s, if I recall, that Iran sent scientists to collect samples. Humm. You have to wonder why.

The problem with biological weapons, which may not be a problem for the Iranian apocalyptic culture, is that they do not discriminate. I can foresee an Iranian government, on the verge of being deposed, setting off every weapon at their disposal. Bringing about the return of the Mahdi (apocalypse in the West) is much more important than life itself.

I agree. Sooner or later this thing is going to get out of Africa.

Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

If a quarantine saves just one child's life, it's worth it.

I always wonder why Africa continues because they get hit with every horrific disease, violence, chaos to be found...

"they" who ever "they" are predicted decades ago that AIDS would kill everybody in Africa.

Not to worry. Dustbunny Turd-owe will help them by bringing all Ebola sufferers into Kanaduh for treatment. After all, diversity is Kanaduh’s strength. </sarc>

Once it crosses the border, it’s just a jet flight from the USA.

Save your money. A trip to Kanaduh is a cheaper way to “experience what it is like to live in the Congo” than a trip to Congo. After all, Turd-owe is doing all he can to turn Kanaduh into Africa.

My understanding is that we don't even need to go that far. We can just take a plane to Minnesota.

BTW, I thought you guys were being inundated by the 'Yacht People'.

Given China’s activities in Africa, it wouldn’t surprise me to be reading of a outbreak of Ebola in China. Given the population densities it might go thru the nation like crazy!
