Merriam Webster defines religion as a personal set or institutionalized system of religious attitudes, beliefs, and practices. Islam certainly qualifies as a religion by that definition. Religions profess to connect human beings to the divine. Islam professes to do that. At the same time, however, it is also a political system that is authoritarian, supremacist, discriminatory, expansionist, violent, and aggressive.
In reality, Islamic laws political aspects contradict Constitutional principles and American freedoms in numerous particulars, including its denial of the freedom of speech, the institutionalized discrimination against women, non-Muslims, and other groups, its death penalty for apostasy from Islam and for homosexual activity, and more. At a certain point there is going to have to be a national discussion about whether religious freedom grants Muslims the right to break other laws, or whether the aspects of Sharia that contradict American law are unwelcome in the United States. Asma T. Uddin and the New York Times are trying to foreclose upon that discussion by muddling the issue.
Islam has always been political. Its political aspect has always been considered intrinsic to its nature.

It’s a Satanic political totalitarian death cult whose adherents are commanded to lie that it is peaceful, and if they are disbelieved, they will murder you. It is the very enemy of humanity and civilization (and why the Democrats, their junior partner in evil, love it and defend it so).
In my opinion religion should be defined as a system of believes with the stated goal uplifting humankind . This would negate the positions of Islam and Satanism .

Communism is a religion to the Left. Socialist Utopia. One world governance. Nowhere to run.
As crazy as it seems, practically all publicly-traded U.S. companies have bought into “diversity” and “tolerance”, ostensibly to keep what they see as “market share” wherever their products are sold. But I believe the real reason is fear of being sued for “discrimination”. The Islamic lobby is tapping into the fear of lawsuits and the fear of being labeled “Islamophobic” as an offensive to radicalize America and replace the Constitution with Sharia law. As employees of these corporations we are constantly bombarded by upper management with the mantra to “respect differences”. It’s in all of the corporate PR they throw at you. It’s ubiquitous. Not only is the camel’s nose under the tent, but the whole damned head has made it’s way in.
The majority of muslims in America are first generation immigrants. We’ve imported it. They are here to colonize the West, not to integrate or because they love the American way of life. Seditionists.
Prior to the influx of foreign funded “refugees”, many “muslims” in America were black separatists of the Nation of Islam which muslims in other countries will tell you is not real Islam.
>> But I believe the real reason is fear of being sued for discrimination.
2 things at play, infiltration into the HR departments for 20 years (requiring employees to undergo political re-education programs annually for “compliance”) and shakedown hustles by playas like Al Sharpton.
Corporations went liberal and then hard left a generation ago. The heirs of the empires don’t care if they run them into the ground.
It’s clearly a sociopolitical construct. They can pray as much as they want to, but they have to discard the rest of the baggage to integrate with the rest of the population rather than be regarded as an infestation.
“At a certain point there is going to have to be a national discussion about whether religious freedom grants Muslims the right to break other laws, or whether the aspects of Sharia that contradict American law are unwelcome in the United States.”
Bullcrap.
At a certain point - NOW! -there needs to be a national resolve to either deport or kill all muslims in the US, and dozens of other countries. Once they hit 10-12% of the population, that country is over. Germany, UK etc are nearly gone.
The filth called islam (spit) is far worse than Nazism and Japan’s Bushido codes.
%÷#^&_%/ the New York Times.
Islam is a political and social ideology.
It’s a political system. A very, very evil one.
Nothing religious about “Kill all the Christians and Jews”, “Submit or Die”.
Islam is not merely a religion. It is a way of life. It is a socio-political system masquerading as a religion. Its entire raison d’etre is to supplant existing socio-political systems AND religions and replace them with Islamic authoritarianism.
The centuries-old separation of Church and State that defines the Western psyche is something anathema to Islam, and likewise the all-encompassing “lifestyle” of Islam is not something that Westerners easily comprehend. Islam and Democracy cannot coexist, and Islam makes this clear.
Islam is total forced dominance nothing less
“Islam has always been political. Its political aspect has always been considered intrinsic to its nature.”
Before Islam became political, it was violent and murderous - led by Mohammad who personally beheaded 400 captives. A religion of murder, a religion of death, which loves death as westerners love life.
It’s a political system with a thin coating of religion to give it the power to motivate its adherents to blow themselves up.
The majority of muslims in America are first generation immigrants. Weve imported it. They are here to colonize the West, not to integrate or because they love the American way of life. Seditionists.
...............
Exactly. Their ultimate goal is to ‘fundamentally transform’ America.
( where did we hear that before)
Islam is a scam created by a degenerate, to give him license to indulge his perversions. Nothing more.
It is a violent world-expansionist political movement designed to force the entire world to accept one religion.
