Since cloture is an archaic term and no longer relevant, that oughta work.

And Trump continues to break the GOPe. Win or lose the Kavanaugh nomination the GOPe is deader than Kelsey’s nuts. And this is good.

Keep poking the bear. I wonder if they know how close to Fort Sumter they are?

Did the Senate vote to at least debate it?

These people are painful.

Cloture only requires 51 votes. If we can’t get cloture then Kavanoaugh is done anyway.

McConnell said late Friday, all 51 GOP Senators will move forward
on a procedural vote. That was part of the deal he struck with the
holdouts regarding the FBI investigation.

Ed Rollins says he will spend whatever it takes to end their careers if they vote against Kav.

Since we’ve gone nuclear on all judicial nominations (a good thing) this is moot.

President Trump can wait and if all goes well in the election, he can nominate Kavanaugh when the Senate is in better shape.

So, it can still happen. Keep praying and stay optimistic.

I’m talking to myself here.

Cloture is on a filibuster. There is no filibuster of judges.

There was a liberal on Twitter who posted a poll. He got owned. Last I looked 97 percent believed Kavanaugh. 60,000+ votes. I think people are getting through to Collins, Murkowski, and Flake. Jamming their tweets with negative responses. I believe the American people are seeing the disgusting tactics of the Democrats.

At the same time... Coons is flipping and many other at risk democrats. A cloture vote does not have to include these three idiots.

I am persuaded of better things. Anyway, I prefer to stay positive. Otherwise, it’s just nauseating; and I dislike nausea intensely.

If Palin would announce that if Murkowski votes no she will begin a vigorous write-in campaign against her. She would probably even win but even if she didn’t she would ensure Murkowski’s loss. McConnell should also promise Collins the moon for a yes vote and when he does not keep his promises to her afterwards it will be just a shame.

You did not mention a source for your claim. And Flake already wrote that he’ll vote to confirm Kavanaugh.

If the next nominee for the Supreme Court is a woman, that will be the end of the Republican Party.

The attack against Judge Kavanaugh and his family was exactly for that evil purpose, and the majority of people in the U.S.A. are aware of exactly that.

Your move.
