TOKYO (AP) — A German-French observation device safely landed on an asteroid on Wednesday after a Japanese spacecraft released it as part of a research effort that could find clues about the origin of the solar system, Japanese space officials said. The Japan Space Exploration Agency said the Mobile Asteroid Surface Scout, or MASCOT, was released from the unmanned spacecraft Hayabusa2 and successfully landed on the asteroid Ryugu. The spacecraft went as close as about 50 meters (160 feet) to the asteroid’s surface to release the box-shaped lander.

gee, thanks, Captain Obvious. "created" is one thing - it describes a completed act. But the question that drives exploration of what is 'created' is "how". This is an article about 'how' we might get closer to the "how". Every discovery is an affirmation of the wonder of the creation of the universe. If we weren't supposed to look in awe, and question what we see with logic and science, the Bible would tell us so. In fact, quite the opposite: Isaiah 40:26.

And accused of “ad hoc strawman lies.” I never thought that on here I would be called these things, just by quoting Genesis 1:1. Maybe you all should learn a lesson on kindness and civility. For the record, I did not insult anyone’s religious belief. I do not know if you believe in God or not. But it is obvious that you believe in evolution and not the biblical account of creation. So be it. But why are you guys so afraid of a quotation from the Bible?
