Wind turbines extract energy from the wind, altering the velocity, temperature, and humidity. They have been video captured acting to produce fog nucleation, resulting in ground level contrails. Turbines create effects at a distance from their immediate location.

Now it magically dries out the countryside and magically warms things up. Totally stupid.

Well, your Bellicosity is misplaced on this one.

This is a well know and understood process that actually happens in the real world.

It is a principle used by grape growers around the world to prevent frost damage to their crops. Drive by most any vineyard and you will see what looks like little wind turbines in the vineyards. They are used to move the air in the vineyard, mixing upper air with lower air to prevent frost.

“The climate effect of burning fossil fuels is cumulative,” Caldeira said in an email. “The longer you run a coal plant, the worse the climate change gets.

These birds only know one tune.

CO2 is not cumulative because it is absorbed and consumed in nature.

Carbon dioxide is absorbed in the oceans and lakes of the world and is consumed by plants. Raise the percentage of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and both of these sinks of CO2 will ramp up. Plants will grow more quickly and the oceans will absorb more.

At some point the oceans could be saturated but I don’t see that happening because plants in the oceans would be feasting and growing more rapidly in a more CO2 rich environment.

Stretch that out for a few hours and make a sort of Earth Day “Yule log” video.

The turbine is driven by the prevailing winds, they’re not a powered fan that drives the earth’s winds. That’s like saying that your bass boat’s outboard engine drives the ocean currents. You global warming people are nuts.

The turbines create vortices that mix air

Your bellicosity is not an argument and does not make you right

A few wind turbines are going to change the climate, right. Get out of California before they turn your head completely to mush. You’re writing fiction.

Did you read the article?

I never claimed they changed the CLIMATE writ large.

They change the local surface temperature by mixing upper level air with lower level air. There by warming the surface temperature.

This is a well documented effect.

Go back and look at the picture in Post #20. It makes the effect obvious.

Is it just that you enjoy making belittling comments about your betters or what?

Some parts of the central United States are already seeing nights that are up to 2 degrees Fahrenheit (1.1 degrees Celsius) warmer

2 degrees warmer, sounds like climate-change to me. I don't give a crap how well-documented you claim this is. Al Gore's past prediction that large parts of the east coast and most of Florida would be under water by now are also "well-documented". Lots of publications babbling the same garbage doesn't impress me. If you're going to drop the accusation, the burden of proof is on you. The global warming people have shown me NOTHING because they have NOTHING.

All this story really illustrates is who’s getting paid off and who isn’t. Solar power is just as good as gold. The energy, chemicals, and industrial waste involved in manufacturing 50 kazillion solar cells doesn’t bother the liberals and their media one single bit. It also doesn’t bother them that it can never get off dead center without it being heavily govt. subsidized. But they just can’t find enough problems with wind power. Just putting them up destroys the climate and the world.

The only this proves is that the solar power lobby is paying off the right liberals and the wind power lobby isn’t. It’s not that I think wind power is so great, I fully expect people investing in it to lose their butts. It seems better than solar, though. I don’t see it sucking massive subsidies and I don’t see people being bullied and browbeaten to use it like solar.

Get back to me when you have read and understood the article.

Otherwise don’t bother me.

By the way I will never bother you with a reply again.

It is my impression that you are Troll with nothing better to do than make pointless arguments for the fun of it.

Thank you. Take your enviralist garbage somewhere else, why are you even on FR? Go be a member at the Sierra Club’s website, they’ll accept you there.
