Public health authorities are investigating an outbreak of flea-borne typhus in downtown Los Angeles.
Typhus is a disease caused by bacteria found in infected fleas that can come from many kinds of animals including cats, rats and opossums. Symptoms can include high fever, chills, headaches and rashes.
Accumulations of trash that attract animals like rats may increase the risk of exposure.
Typhus is treated with antibiotics. It is not transmitted person-to-person.

God willing it migrates to the Governor’s mansion in Sacramento and reaches Moonbeam.
They won’t “get it” until there’s an outbreak of typhus, plague or worse, and roads are blocked by troops in hazmat suits with guns.
There will be more and more of this as liberal cities allow more and more homeless “camping” and filth to accumulate in the center cities. They are doing their damnedest to do it here.
A heavy influx of illegal immigrants from third world countries are bringing with them third world disease.
This coupled with high populations of homeless people are setting up breading grounds for diseases that have not been seen in the United States for generations.
I guess the Black Plague will follow... so glad I am out of the flea pit that southern California has become.

I also walk through this filth in downtown Los Angeles each day. You have no idea. I took this job because my company made me an offer I simply couldn’t refuse and that increased salary changed my life. Unfortunately, it include some issues that did not end up on the plus side of things.
Downtown Los Angeles smells like ass. seriously. It reeks of filth, garbage, urine and feces. Include typhus into that mix now. Lovely. not exactly thrilled. Thank you citizens of this effed-up state, for keeping the dems in power here. Ronald Reagan would cry if he saw what this place has become.
last year hep c outbreak downtown San diego. They had to scrub the streets 3 times week at cost of hundreds of thousand.
