The lack of evidence, as pointed out very succinctly and humorously by the president.
I vote Avenatti. I so want to see him as a Presidential candidate in 2020.

You can add Cory “Spartacus” Booker to that list. When the Democrats pulled their desperation move with Christine Buzzy Ford, they were already looking mighty bad with the public because of those bizarre antics during the weeks leading up to it.

All of those things in that order, and including down thread #8, John McCain being in Hell now.
I agree: Graham. He was spot on with his castigation of the Demon Rats.
Graham, Trump and Kavanaugh all get credit.
But by going through this the Republicans gained oh so much more than a confirmed SCJ.

It all really comes back to Trump. We have a Republican President with a spine, who does not collapse in the face of the Democrat-media complex. According to the “playbook”, he was long ago supposed to have abandoned Kavanaugh to the wolves. Everyone else is standing on his shoulders. Hopefully, the rest of the GOP is learning though.
If he hadn't handled his part the way he did, the democrats would have run the show out of town two weeks ago.
8. GW Bush, surprisingly.
It all came down to a few senators. Despite his many failings, GWB seems to be personally loyal. I’d say his loyalty to Jeb! underlies his antipathy to Trump.
And, here, he had personal loyalty to Kavanaugh who worked for him. So, he called a few senators. I think, most notably, he leaned on Susan Collins.
