Despite the statistical likelihood of the perps coming from a particular group being clear enough for a 10-year-old to have a good guess, be careful… and if you do, Chief Constable Dick may just get her knickers in a twist and fire off emails to her “experts” as to whether such calumny can be allowed to stand. Experts, that’s a term to mull over — Vyshinsky might have clarified matters for her, as he did at all those chilling show trials for the recent occupants of the Lubyanka — never needing to return for too long a stay after the judgement, of course. Useful, contemptible, amoral or pliable experts are two a penny, as every totalitarian instinctively knows. (If the use of the “knickers in a twist” phrase is thought of as sexist — it is not. The worst crime in Islam is to leave the religion, and to do so is deserving of death. Surely it is time to inform all the supporters of such a disgraceful verdict that their citizenship is being revoked or they agree to reform the medieval and barbaric code. If not, why not bring back breaking on the wheel, or quartering?

The only “better” thing about Islam is that because human beings generally make poor disciples many Muslims do not follow Mohammad’s example.
The political left likes it if you cannot peacefully leave it. That is why they side with islam. Power and control is what they want, not freedom and fairness.
It’s the death penalty to leave the Mafia , but at least you don’t have to bow down and kiss the Don’s ass 5 times a day .
It’s really quite simple. But we don’t seem to be able to have a rational societal discussion about this fundamental aspect of Islam. And there are plenty of other troubling aspects that should be discussed.

The more I see of the left, the more I realize it is not the CASH part of capitalism they LOATHE, They actually LOVE the idea of CASH because it is a token for POWER, it is the VOLUNTARY idea of Capitalism that they seem to despise the MOST.

I like to define liberties by “Negative Reduction”
Freedom of speech = Other People ( including government ) can NOT tell me what I can or cannot say.
Freedom of Religion = The state or other people cannot tell me what religion to follow. But more importantly people who make up a religion can NOT stop me from leaving if EITHER.
Freedom of religion is more than the state not telling you what sect of Christianity to follow, but it is also antithetical to the sharia law idea of punishing any form of apostasy but using the state.

I would rather work for the mob or pay protection money TO the mob than become a Muslim... PERIOD!!!

How do you have a rational discussion about the irrational?
Which aspects? The ones in the First Given Half plagiarized from the Bible or the Torah? The ones in the Second and Final Given Half that Mohammad endorsed commanding the deaths of everyone not Islamic?

When dealing with Lefties I try to get them to compare the lives of the two. They really don’t like doing so, typically.
I have yet to see these theological questions raised here http://www.theusmat.com/islamandfreewill.htm even approached by Christian leaders like Pope Francis when it comes to the assertions expressed in the Islamic code known as Sharia .
