Before China iCloud spy chip allegations, Bloomberg published five incorrect stories about Apple

Media personalities have been bending over backward to find a way to square the claims made by Bloomberg in its "China Hack" story with a series of strongly worded denials from Amazon and Apple insisting that the report was "wrong and misinformed." However, there is solid evidence that Bloomberg has previously published a series of false claims before, either from a lack of research coupled with bad perspective, or possibly to simply craft a dramatic narrative.

Truth versus imagination of possibility

The tantalizing idea —as if ripped from the pages of a spy novel —that Chinese hackers had implanted chips into servers used by Apple and others to harvest data and spy on their users' activities was instantly lapped up by Apple's critics as rich dirt for seeding skepticism of Apple's competence in security. The story has also already begun sprouting conspiracy theories that imagined further out into the realm of possibility that perhaps China was using this silicon hardware bugging to turn defense contractors against America.

A much simpler explanation is that Bloomberg rushed to publish information that was wrong, in part because its journalists didn't really understand what they were writing about, and in part because they didn't need to care whether their report was absolutely true or not. There is copious evidence of this in what Bloomberg has chosen to print about Apple over just the last two years.

Daniel Eran Dilger enumerates just some of the FAKE NEWS articles as they relate to Apple that Bloomberg has published in the past year to show why anything that Bloomberg publishes should just not be believed. One hallmark is their use of anonymous sources, such as "people familiar with the matter," who "asked not to be identified" who are not actually likely to exist at all. These are signs the people being quoted, actually do not exist outside of the authors head. — PING!

today’s stock dip was all about big tech. Google, Apple, etc. If Bloomberg’s stories are false and found to be affecting stock prices, they need to be slammed hard. Harder than drughead Musk, who was slapped on the hand basically.

Apple spam damage control attempt.

Take it to Mother Jones, Rolling Stoned, etc.

I am sure you spam them as well.

Please provide PROOF, that means real world EVIDENCE, that the single source anonymous no-name citing PROGRESSIVE, GUN GRABBER, Bloomberg Businessweek, has any expertise in TECH SECURITY at all, ASSHAT. . .

Your entire argument is essentially an ad hominem attack on me. . . yet I am the only one who is raising cogent arguments with links to EXPERTS IN THE FIELD, and people who were cited by Bloomberg calling FOUL on Bloomberg for misquoting them or outright lying!

Yet here you are supporting the lying progressive Main Stream Media outlet which has a reputation for publishing FAKE NEWS because you are blinded in your Anti-Apple derangement and Apple HATE Syndrome that you'd prefer to attack me rather than read the article!

As I said. ASSHAT.
