Some you’ll agree with some you won’t. Trump knows are tools and hears all kinds of viewpoints. If he acted on all the words he hears Ivanka’s ideas would be running the country.
The music: A self-made influential black celebrity and entrepreneur is having an intelligent rational discussion with the Republican President of the United States who is doing more to restore traditional American values than the last handful of his predecessors have, combined.
Trump is building a private army of “woke” pop culture, sports, and celebrity supporters who may not say all the right words but who will be singing off the same sheet of music...and in the key of “MAGA”.

I’ve always thought Kanye must probably be a jerk because of his boorish behavior at awards shows. But I really admire the courage he has shown while being subjected to withering criticism and insults from the tolerant left. He’ll be subjected to even worse after this meeting.

The president has little to lose by holding this meeting with those two guests. Any positive outreach to minorities is going to be a plus, even if just a minor one.
Mr. Trump has been well known throughout the country for most of his adult life. He is a former high profile entertainer from New York and Hollywood. I would think he often misses being in the company of other high profile New York and Hollywood kinds of people.
That should not be surprising.
Think of all the big celebrity funerals that have taken place during his presidency.just two: Muhummad Ali and Aretha Franklin. Mr Trump knew them both very well, especially he knew Muhummand Ali. But due to politics of the day, him attending their funerals was out of the question.
Meeting with Kayne and Jim Brown is a healthy diversion in addition to golfing. High profile people understand the world in ways familiar only to them.
I say go for it when you can, Mr. President.
Kanye visit today, Trump signed a clean ocean bill today, signed bill to give musicians their rightful royalties, promises to protect SS and Medicare, embraces protections for Pre-Existing conditions.....Trump is co-opting the entire Dem agenda.
