Melania Trump dismissed Friday the widespread talk about her husband President Donald Trump’s reported affairs with a porn star and others, saying she has “more important things to think about.”
Addressing for the first time allegations that have swirled around her husband the first lady brushed off speculation that her marriage is troubled and insisted she loves life in the US capital.
In a lengthy ABC television interview, Trump did not deny the many stories of her husband’s philandering. But she also made clear she does not dwell on it.
“It is not a concern and focus of mine,” she said. “I’m a mother and a first lady, and I have much more important things to think about and to do.”
“I know people like to speculate and media like to speculate about our marriage,” she added.
“It’s not always pleasant, of course, but I know what is right and what is wrong and what is true and not true.”
The interview, excerpts of which were released by ABC ahead of a full broadcast Friday evening, came after nearly two roller-coaster years in the White House, during which Melania was frequently thought to be on the verge of breaking with President Trump, as one woman after another came forth claiming they had been paid to be quiet about their affairs with him.
But she gave no hint to ABC as to how the stories affected her.
Asked whether she loved her husband, she answered: “Yes, we are fine. It’s what media speculate, and it’s gossip. It’s not always correct stuff.”(continued)

It was a roller coaster ride because YOU (the media) imagined the Trump’s were on the verge of breakup, despite having no supporting evidence? Boy that’s real honest reporting /s.
She knows whether any of this shit is true. She and DJT have handled the issue. God bless them for keeping the country safe. Their private lives are theirs. Long live the First Lady, she is class.

Oh good grief. Of course, she’s a woman. All you have to do is look up her childhood photos if you are truly confused. One daughter looks like him, the other looks like her. Her politics are the problem, not her general appearance.
She was a good sport to do this interview. The guy managed to raise every controversial issue and show unflattering footage (her dress blowing up, and when she was pushed by the elephants) and biased commentaries, and she remained very poised and unrattled. I’m sure he was hoping for a negative “scoop” or two - I really didn’t see any weakness on her part.
He claimed nothing was off limits, yet Barron’s name was not mentioned a single time, which was good.
My take, So for 1 hour they kept saying how terrible Trump was & repeatedly asked Melania how she can put up with it, just waiting for to accept their premise & file for divorce on camera.
That guy was both patronizing and going for the gotchas. What a schmo. She handled herself very well. I couldn’t watch the end, had something to do.
Libs always are biased with nonliberals. Always.
Look at how the press treats democrats in interviews vs republicans. Always smiling and laughing and softballs and compliments to liberals. Always stoic and harsh and combative and curt to conservatives or their family.
A perfect example is Charlie Rose. You can always tell what he (or any media person) feels about their interviewee by how they are behaving with them.
They are unable to hide their bias.
When did we start having to see everyone’s birth certificates? Have you seen Trump’s or any of his kids birth certificates?
