Was at a mall today, bored and waiting for my wife to stop spending my money. So I tried to go onto Free Republic to pass the time. I didn’t know I was on JC Penny’s WiFi (I was not in the store).
Can’t quite figure out what word has been banned...
Free?
Republic?
No wonder they’re going out of business.

If I was totally bored which is why I would be on a devise at a Mall and that happened to me I would break it down and resend it to see which part was rejected as I am sure it was not freerepublic as who has time to input every http address into their router

No, it's not the website name, but rather the contents of the main/index page that set off one of the snowflakes' hair-triggers.
Go look at the main page, especially the paragraph of blue & red links at the top or the Popular Keywords in upper left. Eg:
"Popular Keywords: 113th banglist budget catholic communism communists conclave coup democrats economy education electionfraud guncontrol guns homosexualagenda military obama obamacare palin randpaul secondamendment sequester talkradio votefraud voterfraud"
My #1 guess is that "homosexualagenda" was the trigger. Anything other than "gay" is a Thought Crime these days.
