Oh BTW, I also have a WIN XP on my other laptop (Dell) which I found, by coincidence while cleaning my closet. It still works. It must be me but it’s faster than my company’s WIN 10 laptops for some reason...

so win XP, there wont be any more security patches updates for 2018?

XP's security patches stopped in 2014, except for one extraordinary patch issued after that for a major vulnerability across all platforms.

Software expands to consume resources. Win10 runs no faster, on average, than Win7 or WinXP, and XP will sometimes beat it. For a real thrill, run a copy of Win98SE on modern hardware. It screams.

Just don't you dare connect it to the internet. :-)
