I had electronic muffs. Sweaty on hot days. They eventually stopped working. Have been using Howard Leight Banded Ear Plugs. They go quick on for shooting off for conversation.
I first saw them worn by Hickock45 on YouTube.
Ultimately I’d like to get molded electronic plugs.
Silicon or foamy plugs. I get mine at home improvement stores. I understand that the Howard Leight Ear Plugs are good and some models are quite affordable. I would get the big orange banded model as they are easier to spot when packing up to leave. I use orange work gloves too, for the same reason.
