Federal immigration officials say Oregon authorities prevented them from detaining for deportation an illegal immigrant from Mexico who is now charged in the brutal stabbing death of his wife, whose body was found in a ditch Sunday.
The case marks the latest dispute between federal authorities and Oregon over the state's "sanctuary" laws regarding illegal immigrants.
The suspect, identified as Martin Gallo-Gallardo, 45, had been released in March by the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office after prosecutors dismissed assault allegations against him. His wife and daughter stopped cooperating and a grand jury refused to indict him, FOX 12 Oregon reported.

And honest, yes it would have been worse if he had killed a citizen.
A citizen should EXPECT protections against illegals. I’ts the LEAST a government can do.
An illegal has no rights under the law. Not even the right to restraining orders or protection from the police.

Just released went through a judge he made a very poor judgement. That judge should be held accountable.
But “Immigrants have lower crime rates than citizens”.
Even worse, the victim’s family can probably win millions of taxpayer dollars in a lawsuit - and the judge won’t even get a slap on the wrist.
I was told by a democrat yesterday that illegal immigrants don’t commit crimes. I guess facts once again get in the way of a liberal fantasy.
They’re only committing the murders Americans won’t.
The illegal “community” used to be self policing so as not to draw heat on the rest but that hasn’t happened in years as there’s now too many of them.

The wife and daughter refused to cooperate.
The daughter now can live with her responsibility of not wanting the law enforced.
She was not blameless in this episode.
The mother paid for her lack of responsibility.
Make the D.A., Sheriff, and anyone else involved in blocking this man’s deportation criminally liable for his wife’s death. Charge them all with accessory to murder.
That woman is so nasty. I wish she would just go away. I wonder if she got her start at FSU throwing chocolate milk on folks. You know she probably has a large stash of electrical tape and is the leader of the eyebrow clan.

Stabbing your wife I can understand...but leaving her body in a ditch...? That’s cold.
No worries though. She’ll vote Democrat in a few days.
