was spotted at the Oklahoma City National Memorial on several occasions taking photos of “unusual angles and places where people didn’t normally take photographs,”

They better stick to the phone call, because this odd angle pics allegation is just plain goofy.

Maybe the point is that he was looking for a place to plant explosives where they wouldn’t be seen.

More muzzie terrorism in Oklahoma.

From the Murrah Building bombing in 1995 which had Islamic connections, to the OU bombing that fortunately only killed the muszzie, to the muzzie beheading a coworker to more. Much more.

It’s no secret that Oklahoma is a jihadi hotspot.

There is more to it...I live in OKC and work for a state agency that is located directly across the street from the Bombing Memorial. In addition to taking photographs, the suspect was seen going through our 6 story parking garage, directly north across the street from the memorial, checking cars, looking in and around the garage, and making photos in and from the garage. The garage is not public access. So, he had no reason to be checking cars or photographing different vantage points in and from our garage. It is our belief that he was either looking at our garage as a point of attack, or as a vantage point to watch some activity at the memorial.

The guy is from Iran and it appears that two guys he grew up with and his family alerted the authorities. From station KOCO:

Police said they received a call on Nov. 1 from a concerned person in California, who said Nayebryazdi had left a recorded message for his sister in Iran. Police said the recorded message was "loosely translated" by the caller, who said Nayebryazdi told his sister that, "Hundreds are going to die in Oklahoma City, something very large is going to happen, it will be on the news, and don't tell mom and dad until it is seen on the news."

The caller said they received the information from a high school friend living in Germany. All three had grown up together.

Maybe he’s a scout for someone else.

Like the scouting of the WTC before 9/11.

Hopefully he's just a nut, but...

...A Libyan policeman was caught photographing the inside of the US Consulate in Benghazi on the morning of September 11, hours before US Ambassador Chris Stevens was killed in a terror attack there, and worried US consular staff complained to the Libyan Foreign Ministry over the security breach, an Arabic TV station reported on Thursday, quoting from letters found at the consulate after it was attacked. …

All immigrants should be vetted. But as long as there is no connection with the Revolutionary Guard or some other arm of the Iran governemnt organs, I would generally feel much more comfortable with an ethnic Iranian than many who seek to enter. The Iranian people are heirs to one of the oldest civilizations in the world and the fact that people who knew this guy turned him in is evidence of the civilizied nature of most Iranaians.
