Chick-fil-A’s entrance in the Boston market comes six years after the late Boston Mayor Thomas Menino said he would oppose the chain from opening within city limits after Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy voiced his opposition to gay marriage in 2012. The bad press never impacted sales at the chain, which has seen its market share grow 13% in the last four years.

I live near a Chick-fil-A in metrowest Boston. It’s been there for a while.
I went there for the first time a few days ago because I’ve heard so much about them and want to support them.
I got the fried chicken nuggets and waffle potatoes. So salty I couldn’t stand it. Much disappointment.

Like you I kept hearing how "great" this place is.
We NEVER eat ANY "fast food", except when we're on a long road trip and then, just the French fries. Finally saw one, in Maryland, so stopped to try the waffle fries. NEVER AGAIN!

I do have to say the customer service was wonderful - better than any fast food joint I’ve ever visited.
But the saltiness - OMG! Just terrible.

Sounds like a one-time experience. And, not all Chick fil A's have the same cook, and cooks don't always use the same amount of salt and condiments with every batch of fries or chicken nuggets.
