Much more than 42 are dead in Paradise, Concow, Lower Magalia and nearby areas, the first three have been identified and notifications of family have been made. The three victims have been identified as Ernest Foss, 65, of Paradise, Jesus Fernandez, 48, of Concow, and Carl Wiley, 77, of Magalia.

Do you mind if we first recover all our dead before doing this? There's still more than 16,000 homes to search and over 7000 locations which are more than half destroyed or simply ash.
