My mom was diagnosed with cancer in 1959. Her doctor recommended she start smoking cigarettes to ease her stress... She finally quit in 2009.
That is nothing new out here in Californicator land.
Decades ago whacked out patients brought their illegal drugs of choice to their primary care or ER doctors to find out if it was good, bad or dangerous.
The smart doctors suggested to their whacked out patients to take their drugs to the cops and ask them, and to let the cops know where they got the drugs.
State law probably requires the doctor to turn her in, or lose his license.
The law -requires- you to do a lotta things. But this society is too full of people turning in their neighbor.
Its especially egregious when she goes to a professional for help, and they call the cops on you.

Actually, I believe drugs are reason number one why our country is so screwed up.
Drug addicts are drunks on steroids. And legal alcohol is bad enough.

Thank you, Perservero. My son is a Christian that got off on the wrong track when he was terribly hurt by a girl he loved dearly. He is in a Christian-based sober living facility nearby. Once you are an addict on meth, few beat it on their own. Only by the grace of God will he prevail. Only the hand of God can deliver him.
We were better served when ephedrine was available at the corner stores. I knew many who used it as an energy booster, or for cold symptoms. The government has consistently caused addiction to spread, and worse substances to come “online” by their actions. The production of Opium is the highest it has ever been under the leadership of the American occupation of Afghanistan. Laudanum was the problem addicting post Civil War America, so they banned it and gave us Heroin. They come up with a drug to get people off of Heroin, they get addicted to that. They come up with Fentanyl, and now a new drug specifically “for the military” that is 10 times as powerful, and easy to ingest.

This isn’t as crazy as it sounds ... doctors do prescribe Methamphetamine ,, it’s called Desoxyn when it comes from your pharmacy... Adderall is a close second...
What do you think that doctor that advertises on your local radio show “Medical Weight Loss” does? That “doctor” is just a drug pusher.. selling meth (Adderall/Desoxyn) prescriptions..
My son did not become a meth addict on prescription drugs. However, he had a lady high school friend who did . . . on Adderall. Unfortunately, you are correct. There are some doctors who are nothing but drug pushers with a license.
