Alan Dershowitz, a frequent defender of President Donald Trump, said special counsel Robert Mueller’s report will be “devastating” for the president.The Harvard Law professor emeritus told ABC News Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos that he believes the president will have to navigate the political impact of a potentially damning final report from the special counsel.
“I think the report is going to be devastating to the president and I know that the president's team is already working on a response to the report,” Dershowitz said on "This Week" Sunday.
Dershowitz added that he believes the report, although it will have a strong political impact, is unlikely to result in criminal charges.
“When I say devastating, I mean it's going to paint a picture that's going to be politically very devastating. I still don't think it's going to make a criminal case,” Dershowitz said.

If Mueller’s report completely exonerated Trump, the media and Democrats would blame Trump for all the wasted time and money they spent trying to convict him!
And Dershowitz knows because he has inside information? Or because saying so guarantees him continuing spots on the Sunday shows?
The Mueller investigation is the biggest con job in American history. Everything in it will be based on absolute fabrications and flat out lies. The printed Mueller Report will provide a lot of kitty box lining for a long time.

Whatever Mueller’s findings, the media will act like Trump is Hitler, Nixon and Satan all rolled up into one evil dude.

Dershowitz has never seen the report. How would he know?
This is an example of fake news. Mr. Dershowitz is saying what most of us have believed all along. The report released will give no criminal wrongdoing but will say that President Trump in essence is a very bad man. Of course Mr. Mueller in pursuing this conclusion ruined the lives of General Flynn and George Popodopulous on fake and trumped up perjury charges so he’s a very good man because this was in pursuit of the leftist aims.
Nothing new to see here, move along....
This will be a politicized report and nothing more. The liberal wordsmiths are working overtime on it.
It will be fodder for a million conspiracy theories on the left to carry it through to the 2020 campaign.

But, it is fun to watch Dems make the same mistakes we made 10 years ago. How many articles were posted to FR, about how "This was the big one, the one that would wreck Obama's presidency, he's GOT to leave now, etc etc etc"? If we had a quarter for every post like that, FR would be funded in perpetuity.
