Latino comedian and actor Paul Rodriguez said he’s been the target of death threats ever since he voiced support for President Trump earlier this month.

Mr. Rodriguez, who also chairs the California Latino Water Coalition, said he’s faced a lot of backlash since he praised Mr. Trump for his support for major water projects in California in a Nov. 5 interview with the same outlet.
“Even as I did that interview I knew it’d have repercussions … but I stand by what I say,” Mr. Rodriguez said Thursday.
“I’ve been working for the water rights for California for eight years,” he said. “We asked Mr. Obama for eight years to come and see about our problem — he didn’t. Donald Trump opened up the water pipes six months ago.
“Do I agree with everything? No, but I am grateful for that,” he added.

No, Paul Rodriguez. He used to be a pretty rabid left-winger. After he involved himself in water issues in California with the Hispanic farmers (who were ignored by the Democrats), he started supporting Republicans.

I heard him say in an interview that he quit his gig hosting the revived Newlywed Game after a bride admitted on the show that she had slept with her husband’s best friend the night before their wedding.
Said he felt absolutely terrible for the guy and just could not continue to host the show.
