President Trump has become “the face of climate denial,” global warming activist and former Vice President Al Gore said Wednesday night, telling The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah that the 2020 election will provide the opportunity for voters to “make a statement — that we want to get back on the track to the real America.”
After Noah had some fun with Trump’s comment, during a recent Washington Post interview, that U.S. air and water were “at a record clean,” Gore turned serious. “It’s really significant, Trevor, that Donald J. Trump is now the face of climate denial,” he said. “His voice is the voice of climate denial.” […]
Gore expressed the hope that voters were already pushing back — and would do so again when Trump runs for re-election in 2020.
“You know, in physics there’s this well-known principle: For every action there’s an equal and opposite reaction,” he said. “I think that some of the mobilization that is really building — we saw it in the election three weeks ago with the blue wave — I think part of that is a reaction to what Donald Trump is saying and doing.”
Gore said the “experiment with Trumpism is not going very well,” and deadpanned that “in science and medicine some experiments are terminated early for ethical reasons.”
“There will be an opportunity, a little bit less than two years from right now,” he said, “for people who’ve had enough of this stuff to register and vote in large numbers and make a statement — that we want to get back on the track to the real America, and the real American Dream.” …

As far as AlGORE thinks, Man-made Climate Change denial
is worse than blasphemy! For some people, Al Gore is a folk hero, for others, Gore is just another Snake Oil salesman who made it pay off big. Not many magnitudes away from the “Sham-Wow! Man”.

right, Al, because voters have consistently indicated that “climate change” is number 50 out of their 50 top concerns ...
To be pragmatic, if one has to go on a “comedy” show to sell an idea, the idea is pretty weak and the effort is silly. The IQ of the Daily Show audience is about what is expected by those who watch cartoons and play video games 24/7.
And he has never denied the existence of climate change.
However, he has stated his opinion that any current climate change is not caused by us: and there the science is solidly on his side.
By the way: with all his gallivanting about the globe preaching climate change, Al Gore probably has a bigger carbon footprint than anyone else in the country.
