A new household device aims to be the answer to pet obesity at least, for those willing to shell out $1,800 for a treadmill.
Korean startup The Little Cat unveiled its smart feline treadmill at CES in Las Vegas this week.
Unlike other pet treadmills on the market, the pricey system is equipped with LED lights to motivate your cat into exercise, and allows you to set fitness goals.
The app-controlled device even lets pet owners spy on their cats activity when theyre not home, and give encouragement through recorded voice messages.

A professional could probably train some cat to use a treadmill.
Other than that, no way.

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)

I’ve trained multiple cats to play “fetch”. My cat master tells me that cat training is not so hard.

My SO got suckered into one of
these ridiculous contraptions along with a pile of other useless "cat crap" like hammocks, cat trees, etc., etc.
The cats avoided it except when she put treats on it.
Whot a waste of time and money.
Put the "rabbit stew" back on the menu, I say. (donning asbestos suit) d;^)

A pet mouse costs $7. For $1800 you could buy over 250 pet mice, and they would give your cat far better exercise than a treadmill.
Or perhaps somebody could start selling miniature Democrats?

Or perhaps somebody could start selling miniature Democrats?
Cats already makes those automagically in their litter boxes.
Speaking of boxes, this treadmill better come in a spectacular box. Boxes are my cats favorite toys. Treadmills not so much.
