I see.
You were dunking egg shells in various liquids to see how fast the liquid broke down the egg shell.
And the Dr Pepper was fastest.
This is probably why Grandma beat me when she caught me giving the chickens a taste of Dr Pepper.

When we got sick my mom would always give us some ginger ale to settle our stomachs. I put ginger soda from Mexico in my homemade bbq sauce. The stuff is nuclear strong!
