Following the resounding defeat of U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit deal in the U.K. Parliament last night, the global media are giving their reactions to the vote - and they're not holding back.

May's deal was roundly rejected by British members of Parliament (MP) with 432 MPs voting against it and 202 approving it, marking the worst political defeats in parliamentary history. The leader of the opposition Labour party, Jeremy Corbyn, tabled a motion of no-confidence in May's government following the vote on the contentious "Withdrawal Agreement", essentially it's blueprint for leaving the European Union.

The U.K. government now has three working days to map out a new plan of action.

I have a plan: leave! Is that not nuanced enough? What would happen if they just declared they were no longer in the EU?

If you are leaving
Please still say goodbye
And if you are leaving can you
Leave me my Silver Jubilee mug
My old flag
My dark woods
My sunrise

Technically the UK already did that. Effective in March. Now they want to leave with a deal, but it’s not working out for them.

A deal where they pay a large sum of money to be allowed to trade with the EU?

Based on German accounting! Britain should pull the EU down instead of acting like a captive nation paying ransom.

For the EU budget the UK approved before brexit. Basically U.K. should have delayed article 50 two years until what they signed on to ran full.

I think the so-called no deal brexit must happen. There is speculation that a second leave or stay Referendum will happen but imo that is a big mistake. Such a vote should be once in a generation. Less than that is chaos.

This is (most likely) a trade deal opportunity for Trump. I suspect the deal was to allow Britain to continue trading with the EU. I don’t know what cards are in play but I’m sure Trump will figure it out. Also, if Trump were to apply pressure to the EU in Britain’s favor it would probably ease things considerably. The relationship between the British and America is worth working on. Especially since the EU had more or less announced it is less pro-American than those individual countries were twenty years ago. (I am referring to the inclusion of America as a potential enemy while trying to talk up the EU military. Incidentally, buried in that EU military was a statement about enforcing EU policies on other EU countries. Presumably they mean immigration.)

Them and what army. Germany’s 5 tanks? Get out of the EU now and then nuke Brussel’s from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.

The problem is all inside your head she said to me
The answer is easy if you take it logically
I’d like to help you in your struggle to be free
There must be fifty ways to leave the EU

She said it’s really not my habit to intrude
Furthermore, I hope my meaning won’t be lost or misconstrued

But I’ll repeat myself at the risk of being crude
There must be fifty ways to leave the EU
Fifty ways to leave the EU

You just slip out the back, Jack
Make a new plan, Stan
You don’t need to be coy, Roy
Just get yourself free
Hop on the bus, Gus
You don’t need to discuss much
Just drop off the key, Lee
And get yourself free

She said it grieves me so to see you in such pain
I wish there was something I could do to make you smile again
I said I appreciate that and would you please explain
About the fifty ways

She said why don’t we both just sleep on it tonight
And I believe in the morning you’ll begin to see the light
And then she kissed me and I realized she probably was right
There must be fifty ways to leave the EU
Fifty ways to leave the EU

You just slip out the back, Jack
Make a new plan, Stan
You don’t need to be coy, Roy
Just get yourself free
Hop on the bus, Gus
You don’t need to discuss much
Just drop off the key, Lee
And get yourself free

If the U.K. worked as hard to undermine the EU as they did the US president they would not be in this situation. Maybe they should focus on matters closer to home. Socialists always ruin things for everyone and even their patriots are going to pay a heavy price for socialist idiocy.

Maybe it's time for the U.K. To clean up this infestation once and for all time.

why does UK even pretend to continue to play the game?
The EU is a paper tiger at best Little more than a mafiosos with prestigious diplomas.

The Brits should just tell them to go pound sand -neither the Frogs nor the Krauts will be able to do anything about it-they both preoccupied with maintaining their own internal affairs.
