… charged with more than 20 counts of harassment and trespassing stemming from incidents that allegedly occurred while he was filming videos to post on social media, according to police and city officials.
“I remember growing up watching prank videos, and the funniest ones were the ones where people get all bent out of shape,” Carter said. “I said, ‘What if there’s content of people getting bent out of shape and getting upset?’ That was my goal — just to get reactions out of people.”
After learning of the charges this week, Carter said, he grappled to process the fallout from his videos. Carter said he felt people were too sensitive and couldn’t take a joke — yet he was alarmed to hear how deeply bothered some Baltimore residents were.
“I know y’all really hate me and whatever I say probably isn’t going to change a darn thing, but I didn’t mean to hurt anyone or traumatize anyone,” he said.
Court records show Carter has two petitions for peace orders filed against him, one of which was granted for the owner of Baby’s On Fire cafe in Mount Vernon. The complaint states that Carter came into the cafe Oct. 19 and harassed customers while recording them on his phone.
City Councilman Eric Costello, who represents Mount Vernon, received a dozen complaints in the fall about Carter, leading him to reach out to police...
“Enough was enough,” Costello said Friday. “It’s not just that he’s making jokes. He’s making jokes about race, gender, religion. We noticed in a lot of these videos he was being asked to leave and wasn’t doing it.”

There’s a right way and a wrong way to do these things. Some of the ones done by Improv Everywhere in New York get reactions without being mean. (Like the time a small army of them wearing bright blue polo shirts and khakis all went into a Best Buy at the same time and no one could tell who was an employee and who was a customer.)

I could stand ONE SINGLE vid from this guy for 20 seconds and no more, and I LOVE inappropriate humor, dirty stuff, etc.
This guy was simply accosting white people, insulting them and absolutely begging to beat them up.
This was IN NO WAY typical internet humor AT ALL.
Had a white or asian or visibly Jewish guy done that, he'd have been seriously injured or even KILLED on the first day.

He was just using this as a way to harass white people and then insist after the fact that it was only a joke.

Sounds like he’s lucky no one has beaten the crap out of him yet. His education appears to be incomplete.
These videos must be filmed in a no-gun area.
Because I see some of them and I’m worried. Someone jumps out of a bush and charges me while wearing a costume, and they’re gonna get shot.
I worry about this, I truly do. I don’t want to shoot people. They call it a “prank” but it’s actually an assault and one day someone is going to get killed and another person sent to prison for a long, long time.
