Officers with the Fontana Police Department's gang unit came across the hideaway while executing a search warrant at the home on Thursday night. 'While searching the house a man hole was located that led to an underground hiding area and an additional underground area that was being used as a shooting range,' the department said in a press release. Inside the range they found thousands of...

As long as they’re shooting at a gun range instead of at people, what’s the problem?

Is this an Amish gang or a Mormon gang? No idea from the article’s content.

After the prospect of Hildabeast becoming president and stacking the Supreme Court how many people can now be found with (gasp) thousands of rounds of ammunition?

“Thousand of rounds” So what? Big deal, People who shoot a lot have a lot of ammo. IDPA, IPSC, USPSA competitors can go through a few cases a month.

As for gangs members, they have different objectives.

An underground gun range?

Sounds like a perfect man cave.

I want one.

Someone had a little imagination.

I have often wondered why this wasn't done more often.

Maybe it is, but people seldom get caught.

Lots of target shooters have ranges in the basement.

OR at the constant prospect of banning or outrageously taxing all ammo, how prudent would it be to just have enough ammo for the weekend? Liberals ruin everything they touch or tax.

That photo looking down the hole in the floor reminded me of The Great Escape.

I can't recall if it was an actual acquaintance or on FR. But someone had taken a room in their basement and put sound absorbing tiles in it and turned into a shooting range.

Then they got the idea for longer distances. Dug a trench and put in a large diameter pipe in the backyard running horizontally - and ends up at the basement wall where they knocked a hole out. Ran a pulley system along the “roof” of the pipe to change out targets, and had lighting every so often in the roof of the pipe. Pretty clever.

'We are the champions at Hide n Seek and no manhole will help you. If you hide we will find you. If you run you will go to jail tired. If you do crime in our city, we will hunt you in the pursuit of justice for our community.'

'We strongly recommend that you put as much effort as you did in your underground cave, into becoming a productive member of society. You will thank us later for this advice.'

LOL

Do they really believe this crap?

A friend of mine lives in a town in the desert. He tells me
that he can drive one mile to his OUTDOOR range -———does so 2 or 3X’s a month.

I can hop out of bed, walk a few steps to my balcony and be at my outdoor range. There’s also one off the kitchen, the living room and the front porch, just so I can mix it up.

Just what constitutes “thousands of rounds”? Two thousand or thirty thousand?

The wife and I shoot regularly, she has a Sig 380 and I have a couple of S&W 9mm. I get the best deal for both by ordering a case of each at a time. Better price plus free shipping. One case of each is “thousands of rounds” LOL

Practicing regularly will go through a thousand rounds very quickly. I often go through a couple boxes of fifty each session. She has an unlimited use range membership & I encourage her to burn through as much ammo as she likes.

Disclaimer: Our range is public, above ground, and we are not gangsters.

You know how to tell when you have enough ammo? Trick question. There is no such thing as enough ammo. (Dear NSA and DHS, that’s a joke......I think.)

I hope they do. The chances of being a victim of a violent crime in Fontana are about 1 in 250. Didn’t used to be that way. Fontana was nicknamed ‘fon-tucky’ years ago - lots of Midwest/southern, decent people. Messican now.

I saw a stars and stripe flag in one photo. Must be “white nationalist” gang. And thousands of rounds? Slackers.
