Werner Von Braun's Mars mission outline included a rotating craft for the long transit to Mars (and back). The one I remember (before PowerPoint, there were plastic overlays in the encyclopedia, btw, youngsters) used a boom that was extended to balance the crew areas.

Beresheet means “in the beginning”, i.e. the book of Genesis.

To skip the opening festivities, time index 14 minutes or so. There was only one launch, mea culpa, both the Japanese satellite and the Israeli lunar rover were aboard the Falcon 9. It ain't braggin' when you can do it.

It’s safer for Israelis to travel to the moon than to Gaza or Palestinian areas of the West Bank.

Beresheet wasn’t even the primary mission, but it’s getting all the press.

The young kid that cuts in a few times annoys me a little bit. But anyway, the booster has been launched and landed twice before, and (spoiler alert) it launched and landed a third time on the 22nd. Besides the lunar rover and the Japanese satellite (which is the name they streamed on the video), there were a few other satellites aboard. I believe the record for SpaceX is 64 satellites on one launch, set last year. Not sure that's the overall record, India's space agency is breathing down everyone's necks now. The Israeli lunar rover will take two months to reach the Moon, obviously the type of "chaotic" trajectory pioneered for the Clementine probe some years ago.
SpaceIL started as a Google Lunar XPrize team and is backed by South African billionaire Morris Kahn. If the Beresheet mission survives a weeks-long trip to the lunar surface, it will make Israel the fourth country ever to pull off a moon landing. | Inside The SpaceX Moon Launch That Just Made History | Published on Feb 22, 2019 | Tech Insider

I would not be surprised if a couple of Israelis are the next humans to set foot on the Moon. But also wouldn't be surprised if they just ride along with some less-ambitious undertaking.

Clementine Mission
https://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/LCROSS/searchforwater/clementine.html

[snip] Clementine was launched on 25 January 1994 at 16:34 UTC (12:34 PM EDT) from Vandenberg AFB aboard a Titan IIG rocket. After two Earth flybys, lunar insertion was achieved on February 21. [/snip]

Clementine Pointed the Way to a Lunar Return
In the 1990s, this modest lunar orbiter found out what the moon is made of.
The Clementine model, its interstage and solid rocket motor (bottom half) were discarded before insertion into lunar orbit. (Eric Long / NASM (2006-25314))

Reparations, depending on the outcome of future elections.

I find this guy a little annoying as well, and his videos mostly seem to be about twice as long as needed, but I've got this one going and it's a nice summary, plus, he's been inside the mockups of both vehicles, which may be a unique experience.
