Need a new network

Posted on 03/20/2019 1:51:59 PM PDT by conservativesister

Calling all financially solvent conservative news talk / reporters.

Please start: FCNN First Conservative News Network

At least we would have something since Fox went south and it would be so much fun to say: FCNN

You can get OANN for $4.99 a month for your TVs on your Roku, Apple TV, or Amazon Fire stick.

Please drop your cable TV subscriptions. There are excellent antennas for free TV, too.

Yep. I ocassionally watch Trucker and Hannity and that’s it.
Won’t anymore. I realize Hannity was probably forced by higher ups
to “welcome” the lying racist to the network last night.
Glad I did not watch last night when Donna suddenly appeared.

Actually, there are many more than that near metro areas.

I get 77 channels from an indoor antenna 55 miles from the transmitters. It is on the 2nd floor and pointed out a window, but it’s still blocked by houses and hills. I’m near the bottom of the first hill blocking it.

Some are foreign language, but also adventure and oldies and such—all free. I’d get 20+ more, if closer.

Also WB/UPN/PBS, and religious stations.

I’ve written this before, but I guess it needs to be said again: Reporters and commentators are the LAST people hired at a network. You need equipment, satellite space, carriage agreements, engineers, audio, lights, etc.

Once you have all that, and can pay for it for two or three years before you even think about turning a profit—then you can think about hiring a staff.

But consider this: The optimum audience for a TV News network is 25-50. What is the average age of your freeper—and what would they pay each month for this network. Advertisers would not touch this “new network with a ten foot pole for years,.

Yeah I get 54 but most of them are either MSM network affiliates, PBS, or not worth watching. More power to you if you find some good stuff though.

"free" is the point. I have one TV with an antenna for my bride's soaps but my other three have never seen cable.

Thanks for the reality check. Folks might be surprised to know that they are missing very little by simply turning their sets off.

What you want is a network that slants the news toward conservative views. I don’t need a new network because I don’t want slant either way, just the facts. Since there is no source for that, about all I watch is Tucker Carlson because he provides a diversity of opinion, just like I get online. Then I use my own good brain to assimilate information from multiple sources and formulate my own opinions.

I’ve been watching CNN.
One thing I noticed is there is no other news in the entire world that isn’t about Trump.
Trump..Trump..Trump..Trump...oh Some news about Putin and Trump.

Why would you want to label it as Conservative? The mainstream media don’t refer to themselves as liberal or progressive. They claim they are just plain news and people believe it.

I don’t necessarily need a conservative slant when I hear the news, and I don’t want a liberal one either. I can figure it out. Just give me the news.
