Today’s Cryptogram

You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications, unfortunately they are copyrighted so we can't use them here. So, we're just going to make up our own.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter.
For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram.
Solving the puzzle under 8 minutes is good, under 6 very good, under 4 excellent and under 2 "you're a pro!"
Those of you looking for an added challenge can try to solve one sentence or even one word at a time, i.e. solve the entire first line, then go to the second line etc.

It would have been faster if I’d ever heard of the author. Still, it’s a good observation.
3 and 1/2 min. Got the first word with double letter. Then the e. I was unsure about last name of author, had to google quote to confirm author’s last name.
Everything but the last name...grr.
Jessica Wei, a blogger who collects inspirational quotes, observes that the author’s own work embodies the meaning of this pithy quote. However, the quote is better known than the work.

I got under 4 minutes, but completely guessed at one letter in the last name (and got it right).

About 4 minutes. Had to diddle around with that first word a few tries...
OK then. This was a difficult one for me. I puzzled it out eventually by placing the e, taking a fly at the first word and then the first & middle names.
But in no way do I agree with the sentiment. A typical oversimplification where something that is true in some cases is elevated to a truism & becomes false. Wasn’t surprised the author was a digital artist. Try that theory with medicine or building bridges.
