Fact-checking Bernie Sanders: Fox News forum forced this socialist to come clean
The National Sentinel ^ | 4/16/19 | Jon Dougherty

Sen. Bernie Sanders is probably having some regrets Tuesday morning following a town hall-style event he did for Fox News the night before.

The event, hosted by the network’s Martha McCallum and Brett Baier, focused on a range of issues but, as expected, eventually drilled down on one of them that is the long-serving Vermont Independent’s signature: “Medicare for all” — a.k.a. socialist medicine; a.k.a. full-on, government-run healthcare.

Should Obama be arrested for illegally spying on Trump? At one point, Baier asked the in-studio audience how they felt about Sanders’ plan to get rid of all private health insurance and turn one-sixth of the U.S. economy completely over to the government. Many in the crowd roared and clapped with approval...

The good news.... I heard on the radio this morning that Bernie is leading with 29% to Biden’s 24% of likely Dem voters.

Liar’s lie and stupid is as stupid does.

Pretty much describes all dem pols these days...

I’m actually giving them too much credit. In truth they aren’t stupid, what they do and propose is stupid, what they are is evil.

Kudos to Bernie for stacking the place with his supporters. He learned that from Hillary stacking the DNC with her supporters.

I’ll give Bernie one kudo. He is a likeable fellow with his old odd professor demeanor and frumpy look. He even sounds genuine but those who know better know it’s all an act.

Grandpa Socialist Bernie is now proudly advocating abortion up to birth as “a decision between mother and physician.” I thought the RATs were excusing physicians from even participating in the abortion. Perhaps Death Row inmates would be more appropriate, ya think?

http://redstatewatcher.com/article.asp?id=149445

“Bernie Sanders again horrifically endorses killing fully-formed infants up until birth: “I think it’s rare. It’s made into a political issue. But at the end of the day I believe that the decision over abortion belongs to a woman and her physician...”

This proud proclamation from Grandpa Bernie must go nationwide.

Was probably one of his requirements for appearing.

The biggest scam of the ACA was the collusion of big insurance companies with the government to agree with and support the legislation as profit protection.

“Medicare for all” will necessarily drive hundreds of thousands of insurance company jobs out of business as well as erase hundreds of billions of dollars in stock value overnight. All the politicians that were bought with health care lobbying money and all the politicians representing areas big for insurance jobs (a lot of them Democrats) may talk a big game about single payer, but they won’t ever actually support it.

Only the zealots who can keep get elected while acting against the interests of their constituents and the true idiots who only parrot what seems popular will support the “Medicare for all” plans when it gets brought up for real... and the idiots can be bought.

There is nothing likeable about a socialist.

And I'd question if it's an act.

(Excerpt) Read more at . . . .

Why didn’t you just post the last couple paragraphs? It’s just a rehash of a Fox story that you didn’t write and has already been posted here. No need to evade your blog’s scripts.

**********

At one point, Baier asked the in-studio audience how they felt about Sanders’ plan to get rid of all private health insurance and turn one-sixth of the U.S. economy completely over to the government. Many in the crowd roared and clapped with approval:

But McCallum and Baier also got Bernie to admit some cold, hard facts about his plan: Namely, that it isn’t going to come cheap, and that all Americans are going to have to fork over a lot more of their hard-earned money in order to pay for what will become substandard, chronically underfunded ‘care.’

And just in case you think that “the wealthy” are going to pick up the entire tab for tens of trillions in new healthcare spending:

Here are some more gems, per Fox News‘ blog on the event:

— “I disagree with Donald Trump on virtually every issue, and I talk about it,” Sanders says. He adds that what “upsets him the most” is that he doesn’t think anyone in the U.S. is proud that the president “is a pathological liar.”

Yes, well, Sanders — up to now — has been “pathologically” lying about his healthcare plan.

— Health care is a “human right,” the senator says. He says there’s something “embarrassingly wrong” that the U.S. can’t guarantee health care for its citizens.

That’s his opinion. What is true is that all humans require care at some point (or many points) in their lives. What’s also true, given 230 years of our existence as evidence, is that ‘government’ is not an efficient enterprise, thus, government-run healthcare, while prohibitively expensive, is not something that’s going to be done well, either.

Also, healthcare choice is freedom; why does Sanders advocate the most anti-freedom ‘solution’ for the most vitally required need of every American?

About one-quarter into the broadcast Sanders was asked to stop his attacks on Fox News (which he had done repeatedly) since the network had given him a free hour.

This is why the DNC won’t allow Fox to do the DNC Primary Debates. They are scared to death of honest questions. In fact, they prefer softballs, or even better, the questions before the Debate happens so that they can properly prepare answers. Tom Perez told Bill Hemmer in an interview yesterday that they wouldn’t because of Fox’s bad management and shows like Sean Hannity, the Angle, and Tucker Carlson. Hemmer, the chickenshit, tried to say they are not like those shows because He is News, and they are editorial entertainment. He shouldn’t have said that and defended Fox.

Someone should ask Burnout Sanders this simple question...

“What has the government ever done that was efficient, cost-effective, and free of fraud, waste and abuse?”
