“CDOT spokesman Sam Cole said the department considers the number of deaths in which the driver was marijuana-impaired under state law to be the most reliable indicator of its impact on the highways.
“By that measure, marijuana-related deaths are clearly down.”
I will get one link for you and one alone.
When I question something I do my own research. You should too.
The one making the claim bears the burden of proof - otherwise debate degenerates into an exchange of unsupported claims and counterclaims.
An increase of 6% is an increase of 6%. It’s not “no change”.
A risk that's been mostly overblown by hysterical drug warriors.
Gary should be inside the wall too.
There is a lot less money in marijuana taxes that the Illinois government and other like minded politicians pretend.
It will cost a ton of money to police counterfeit tax stamps and other untaxed grass. The higher the taxes are, the more motivation for gangsters to smuggle or grow their own product in, rob warehouses, factories, fields, etc.
The windfall that Colorado received was caused by Marijuana tourism. Its not going to be repeated, just like when most states legalized casino gambling.
This is fool’s gold for the Illinois dupes who see this as a panacea.
If Illinois or any other state wants to legalize grass, it should be done on its own merits, the money just isn’t there.
