STARKE, Fla. (AP) - The Latest on Execution-Serial Killer (all times local):
7:30 p.m.
Convicted serial killer Bobby Joe Long had no last words before he was executed for a 1984 murder spree that claimed 10 women.
Witnesses say the 65-year-old Long simply closed his eyes as the lethal injection procedure began Thursday at Florida State Prison. In the front row was Lisa Noland, who was abducted and raped by Long before he released her - and she was able to lead police to him.
Another witness had on a polo shirt with photos of all 10 victims on the back and the words, "The Ones That Matter."
Long was pronounced dead at 6:55 p.m.

He was looking right at Lisa Noland before he left. He raped Lisa and would have killed her too but she was clever and managed to get away and because of her he was executed today.
Is it true these people really don’t have a conscience? Or was he just angry he did not kill Lisa too and now was going to die in prison?

That’s what I love about Florida...although once upon a time, before the courts got involved, it was practically overnight and we didn’t have to keep them for decades.
It would have been nice if he’d said “I’m sorry,” but they don’t seem to do that now. That’s because neither the criminals nor the state or the Church believes in Hell anymore. But if he didn’t repent, he’ll be there. Only God knows.

The Texas Department of Corrections maintains a special website for its Death Row.There's lots of very interesting info there regarding the inmates,past and present.
Among the things you can see for those who have been executed is their last words.As one might expect a fair percentage of those who are on the stretcher protest their innocence or demand that the death penalty is wrong.
But a surprising percentage...surprising to *me* at least...acknowledge their guilt and express remorse to the family of the person they killed.
Kinda like a good thief who was crucified with Christ...

He may appear normal on the outside but his will is entirely under control of the demonic.
Psychologically, there are such things as sociopaths. A sociopath is a person with a psychopathic personality whose behavior is antisocial, often criminal, and who lacks a sense of moral responsibility or social conscience.
I'd be willing to believe he was one or the other of these.

In early November 1984, Long spotted 17-yea”r-old Lisa McVey on her bicycle in northern Tampa. After dragging McVey to his car, he forced her to perform oral sex and then brought her to his apartment, where he raped her repeatedly, and even showered with her. However, unlike his other victims, Long let McVey live after treating her like a sex slave for more than 24 hours. It was McVey’s testimony that would finally lead police to Long.
After releasing McVey, Long killed two more women, Virginia Johnson and Kim Swann. However, McVey had provided a brief description of her assailant and his car, and on November 16, 1984, Long was arrested at a movie theater not far from his Tampa home. The mysterious red fibers, which had helped police connect the murder victims, was found to match the interior carpeting of his car. Once in custody, Long was also connected to the recently discovered murder of Vicky Elliot”

The demonic, vile Botoxian that’s pretending to be Speaker of the House could probably be a classic example of “perfect possession”. Whatever it is, it ain’t human anymore...maybe just in looks only.
