I agree...I wonder if anyone knows about the RICO laws in these cases...would create interdepartmental mutiny if anyone who disagrees with the mayor gets indicted for her actions. Chicago would melt down into pure chaos. I do believe Trump is shaking out the abusers of the public trust. Once those indolent teethers get their money gravy train cut off they will howl.
You have to remember that Trump is president, NOT emperor. He tries to do what he can, but there is always some idiot judge who overrules him.

Where as I agree that it should be a crime, it is not the way she is doing it. She didn’t say she would attempt to stop the arrests, she said she just wouldn’t help. And unfortunately there is no law which says the state has to assist or be involved with the detection and apprehension. So as long as they do not attempt to harbor, hide, or shield, and just stay non-committal, they are within the law.

I will personally speak to Chicago Police and voiced my strong objection to any traffic stops. Further, I will advise that CPD will get no cooperate from me with or facilitate of any traffic enforcement actions.
Well, we’re even. I won’t cooperate with any police or Sheriff’s department anywhere in the country. I’m betting they won’t appreciate that much.
