Pope Francis is hoping that the 50th anniversary of the first moon walk inspires efforts to help our common home on Earth. [
]
He expressed hope that the memory of that great step for humanity would spark the desire for progress on other fronts: more dignity for the weak, more justice among people, more future for our common home.

Neil Armstrong said it better.

Just like Freud, this guy always picks the wrong end of the human experience to talk about.

Maybe. I just see him as a typical South America socialist. Not very well read and kind of dumb.

Completely meaningless and empty platitudes from the original "empty suit".
Even Jack Handey and his "Deep Thoughts" entail more wisdom than this virtue signaling pope guy fruitcake.

It would really be a refreshing change of pace to hear the Pope make some mention of that seemingly forgotten Jesus fellow when the Pope has spare moment between pushing LGBTQ issues, enforcing social justice, accommodation with Islam, climate change, the environment and need for unlimited, unrestricted mass migration

This Pope isn’t so worldly. He grew up hating the United States and I don’t think he ever visited before the age of 70. How do you get to be that old, “worldly”, and never see the United States, instead relying on the sour grapes portrayal by anti-s?
