First of all FReepers they would not be disciplined for how they treat an abortion protester.
Second this "volunteer" is one of those "Deathscorts" that guide the women past the protesters/sidewalk counselors to have their babies killed.
Yea this officer was disciplined for the way he treated a "Deathscort"
I really, really don’t like the fact that women abort their children without immediate risk to their lives. I find abortion detestable. If your life isn’t directly threatened by your pregnancy, there is zero reason to abort. There’s no sense in the loss of two lives when one can be saved.
That being said, it is currently legal with no restrictions throughout most of the country. With the level of animosity that is felt for the women going in and doing something that, while immoral, is totally legal; I can’t fault people for volunteering to make these women feel safe in that moment. I don’t doubt that many of the women struggle with the decision, and adding fear to that mixture of emotions isn’t good for anyone.
You also don’t win people over by shaming. I used to be unabashedly pro-abortion until I got a little older and was more exposed to the medical industry, on top of the natural process of maturation that occurs between 16 and adulthood. I didn’t have my mind changed through reproach, which usually makes the other party want to rebel and do the exact opposite of what you are asking them to.
You still sound pro-abortion.
God bless the protesters.
Just because it’s legal doesn’t make it right. The poorly-written article didn’t say anything about shaming anyone. They were just standing in the way. Maybe they’re able once in a while to change the woman’s mind. That’s a good thing.
Tacrolimus? What type of transplant?
Possibly a rash... multiple uses
It can be used for different immune mediated diseases, including vitiligo of the skin and dry eyes, but I guessed he would wouldnt choose the name of the drug as his moniker unless he used it for transplant purposes.
Like slavery in 1860. So it's all good....
I understand what Tacrolimus1mg is saying. I too (believe it or not) used to be pro choice.
Listen to Abby Johnson or anyone who has ever worked for Planned Parenthood or an abortion clinic they will tell you what I’m about to.
The best way to “protest” at an abortion clinic is not screaming at the women but praying and telling the women you are there to help them.
Yelling at them, telling them they are “baby killers” and holding signs of aborted baby parts will not encourage them to come to you. It will only make them run faster into the clinic with the deathscorts covering them with very large umbrellas
Those signs? You know the ones with aborted babies yes I do use them are to be used outside state capitols near politicians who are voting on abortion laws or at other right to life marches. Again want to make clear you don’t want the women running from you. You want them coming over and talking to you about choices they have, choices they won’t be told in the clinic. It’s more than just protesting that they are killing babies, it’s saying to the women alternative.
On hand you have the name and number of a crisis pregnancy center and any other state agencies that can help her in this time. Some times you have free orange juice and donuts to sit and talk to them before they go in. This is very important. Get them to drink that and eat that before they go in!!! They are not to have those before an abortion so if they do and the nurse asks “have you had anything to eat today” well...no abortion for them! HA! They may change their mind and/or by the time they can make a new appointment it’s too late.
Posibilities are endless, I’d tell you more but it’s 6 am and I have not had my Free Republic coffee so I have no idea if what I just said even made sense. Just hope that that my point got across and that you understand how important that job is.
see my post #9
I've been at this (pro-life ministry) for 20 years. I've always shied away from telling someone in (any) ministry that "you're doing it wrong".
Just sayin'
“Yelling at them, telling them they are baby killers”
Is this what happens?
I’m going by what Abby Johnson et al have said and what I know I would have done.
Being screamed at does not work. I mean if you at Wal Mart and some crazy person screamed at you what would you do? You’d run away from that person maybe call the manager or police. So why do you think it’s any different at an abortion clinic?
Yes I know feeling run high because of what is happening at the abortion clinic but that is no reason to lose your head over it. Keep calm. Those people got Abby Johnson out and they never screamed at her.
Yelling at them, telling them they are baby killers
Is this what happens?
With some of them yes. Now not all okay? I have to say not all. If you see the movie “Unplanned” there are still some like that around. Have you seen the movie?
In the movie there was a mixture of pro lifers. There was https://coalitionforlife.com/ that Abby ended up in their office after she saw the baby being aborted. They were not like that okay?
But in several scene you see others shouting “baby killer” and “Why didn’t you keep your legs together you s***” and yes I’ve heard that too!
Give me a second I can pull up some video of ones out there that are like that.
I work with people on a regular basis to help them identify the event in their life that is creating the current psychological and physical illness.
They do not say anything as I can find the stored memory based upon location and anchor point in the physical body.
If a woman had an abortion, or several. I can usually find the stored memory and explain that it created a wound in their soul. The soul knows that it was wrong to take a life, even if the woman is pro choice.
I have found that the pro choice activists are usually the ones with the greatest wounds. In their minds, if they can convince others that it was ok, they can believe it themselves.
I do not judge them, but guide them toward God in prayer to ask for forgiveness.
Miracles happen.
There can be many complexities and variations to these situations. They are far more frequent than most realize.
Sin does cause illness. Thankfully God’s Grace is available to all who turn to Him and ask for His Help.

You are preaching to the choir.
I have read/posted this so much over the years. You know what gets me the most? I look at the deathscorts and think “you stupid stupid girl why are you doing this for free?” NO really! I’m thinking “they are in there making money out the ass and you are doing this for free” Not that I’m saying they should profit off the blood money but I just can’t imagine that these women and sometimes men will volunteer their time, often several days a week for what 8 hours? For free! While that doctor in that clinic and the rest are making a lot of money and I know this because I’ve heard the testimony of ex abortion clinic workers. That really boggles my mind.
Abortion is an act of violence.
Always was, always is.
You beat me to the punch. It is always educational when people use the ‘well, it is legal’ argument as the foundation for their reasoning. Slavery is just one of many abominations that have been legal in human history. Abortion is just a more recent legal activity in the United States that is still a horrible abomination. Any woman who has one is simply a murderer of a baby.
