Todays Cryptogram
TUKTJP FG JGIA OBPE. KXTE JGI MUTHE HGK, JGI KZUU XTASBPE UTEBA. GD WTHFZHG
You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for todays Cryptogram.
If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it to Hals Helper below:
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper.
Solution to our last puzzle:
ANYONE WHO HAS NEVER MADE A MISTAKE HAS NEVER TRIED ANYTHING NEW. ANONYMOUS
...and on his farm he had some plants, E I E I O.
Sorry.
Got the quote in about 3 minutes but had to google to get last two letters of author’s name.
Thanks for doing these - I look forward to them every morning!
About 3 min. Recognized the first word pattern. Helped with remaining. I also had to google for second letter of author’s first name.
Did it the other way: two words after the coma killed the first word.
Had to Google that name...
2.5 min. Repeated word, 2nd word, author’s name.

Missed yesterday entirely, today’s was a tough row to hoe.
Yesterday had ABCBD twice. Ugh!!! Seems like it turns up in 20% of these. Today’s had the double letter and the trigraph. If all else fails, I go for the common ending letters being E or S.
Good tips, thanks! I missed even seeing yesterdays puzzle entirely. No point in going back after seeing the solution here, that which has been seen...
Very difficult at first. Just guessing the first word then suddenly opened it all up.
Gave up trying to solve the 3 letter words and then tried the first word. After that it came into place.
I had to google the author also.
Spent 15 minutes trying to figure out the 3 letter/4 letter combo but only 2 minutes after I got that first word. Ugh!
One minute 10 seconds, until I needed to look up the author’s name.
JGI KZUU was the immediate key to everything else.
