I wonder if, in all of her weepy introspection, it ever occurred to her that abortion was a mechanism for the boyfriend to assure that he wasn’t stuck with her for life. We hear s lot about the mother’s convenience being a rationale for abortion. It’s always seemed to me that it was just another way that men avoided responsibility for their actions. And, in typical paternalistic fashion, couch it in terms of female empowerment. Congrats, ladies; you’ve been duped into being a killer, rather than a mother.
