I have to admit, I sometimes stay away from Free Republic simply because there are too many threads centered on teen activity and the antics of feral youth. I am not denying that this country, and hell holes like Chicago, are in deep and serious trouble. But unless we strike a balance, and unless we also focus on the good and positive sides of life, we are going to seriously mess ourselves up.

It’s all just child rebellion in one way or another. Not worth listening to and I don’t.... why give kids this attention in the first place.

This thread is not focused on the teenagers at all, don’t know how you read into it as such. They are not the only criminal element in Chicago these officers are dealing with. But I guess you are right, block out all the problems in this country and they will just go away. That will fix it for sure... :)
