My 96 year old uncle passed away 2 weeks ago. Wounded in the Ardenesses Forest. Told me last year when he layed there on the groundand thought he was going to die he saw strange lights whipping about overhead and then going up into the sky at supersonic speeds.
He was not hallucinating and was wide awake. He thought all his life what he was seeing was souls of his fellow troops who had died leaving their body going to heaven or who knows where and as he was near death he was somehow able to see these lights.
